The 2009  Norcal Hall of Fame Banquet will be held on Saturday, March 28, at Nick’s Restaurant, 100 Rockaway Beach, Pacifica. No host cocktails begins at 6pm. The induction ceremony will start at 7pm.

You can buy Banquet Tickets right here using Paypal. Or you can mail a check payable to Antiques Baseball Club to Denny Brown, 201 San Antonio Circle, Suite 102, Mountain View, CA, 94040. Please include names of your guests and their choice of entree with your check.

If you buy online by Monday, 3/23 at midnite, or if we receive your check by Monday, 3/23, the price is $40. If you buy online by Friday, 3/27 at midnite, or if we receive your check by Friday, 3/27, the price is $42. If you decide to pay at the door, the price is $44 and you might not get your choice of entree.

The Vallegjo Oldtimers are having a Crab feed on February 28th at Post 550 beginning at 6:00 P.M. with dinner at 7:30 P.M.  Live band and dancing to follow until 1:00 A.M.  Raffle will occur after dinner.  Tickets are $35 per person.  Assigned seating will occur to ensure everyone gets to sit next to their friend.  Please contact Charles Braxton  for tickets. . I’m sorry to report that Nino Martinez lost his battle with stomach cancer. He passed away Tuesday morning.

The function that the Watsonville guys planned for this Thursday evening will be held as planned. Bill Keller said he hopes that those of you who were planning to attend will still do so.

The Norcal website has moved to a new host. In the move process, we have lost some of the content from the site. It looks like many posts (some from 2006 and all of 2007) have disappeared.

I think the problem actually happened before the move. I will try to recover the data, but I am not hopeful that I’ll be successful.
