TriValley game vs. Tigers on April 27, 2003

We lost to the Tigers 8-4.

Terry Fail started for the Tigers and shut us out for the first 4 innings.

Randy Hooper led off the bottom of the first with a base hit and scored the game's first run. In the bottom of the third, Hooper did it again. Both times we helped by contributing errors. Steve Brye's solo HR in the 4th made the score 3-0. The Tigers added a pair of runs in the 5th. Three walks and Jim Kenney's base hit did the damage.

We finally got on the board in the 6th against Carlos Bryson. Danny Moore walked and manufactured our first run. Phil Montes helped scratch another run in the seventh.

We gave those two runs back in the bottom of the seventh. Bill Tonis and Hooper walked to lead off the inning. Both scored on Dave Beren's hit.

We got half way back with two more in the top of the eighth. Augie Torres led off with a walk. Danny kept things going with a base hit. Hank Bataille knocked them both in with his second double of the game.

The Tigers added an insurance run in the eighth and we couldn't answer in the 9th.
