• A mile or so past the 80-680 junction, take the Highway 12 exit to the right.

When you're on Turner, you'll pass Lower Sacramento Road and Hamm Lane before you get to Stockton. There is also a big softball complex on Stockton;
the baseball field is east of the softball complex.

From the Bay Area, go east on 580 over the Altamont Pass.

As you come down off the Altamont, you have two choices. They are nearly the same in distance and drive time. Northern route is maybe a little
longer, but is mostly 2 lanes each way. Southern route is maybe a little shorter but has a long stretch on 132 that is 1 lane each way. I recommend the northern route.

• "Northern Route"
  • Continue straight. 580 turns into 205. Continue east on 205.
  • Just after 205 starts to swing north to go to Stockton, exit to 120 going east toward Manteca.
  • Take 120 east to 99.
  • Go south on 99 toward Modesto (and Fresno etc.)
• "Southern Route"
  • Take the half-right to stay on 580 going toward Patterson (and LA).
  • Go south-east on 580 to 132.
  • Take the 132 exit from 580 going east toward Modesto.
  • When you get into Modesto, take 99 north, toward Stockton.

Whichever choice you took, you're now on 99, going north or south, depending.

• Exit at Standiford-Beckwith and go east on Standiford.
• As you pass McHenry, Standiford turns into Sylvan.
• Pass another major intersection at Coffee; continue on Sylvan.
• Beyer High is on Sylvan, on your left.
• Ball field is behind the school.

• Go west past Cedar and Cherry almost to the railroad tracks.

• Go over the Altamont on 580.
• Turn half-right staying on 580 going southeast.
• Stay on 580 until it merges with I-5.
• South on I-5. Go past Patterson.
• The Newman exit is Stuhr Road. Take it and go east toward Newman.
• Turn right on Draper. The cemetery is on the right.
• Turn left on Orestimba Road
• Turn left on Hardin (It's "T" street if you turn right)
• Turn left on Park and go straight to the field.
  

If you are coming from the San Jose area, or Los Banos,

• Go east on Hwy 152
• Go north on I-5
• Stay on I-5 North until you reach Highway 33 (Santa Nella).
• Head North on hwy 33. You'll pass through Gustine first. Newman is four miles north of Gustine.
• Once you get to Newman, go past the two signals and turn left on Yolo.
• Turn right on Hardin (you'll see the swim center), then left on Park as before. (Yolo turns into Orestimba Rd. )

From the peninsula and points south:

• North on 280 to the Hiway 1 exit.
• Take the Hiway 1 exit west toward the ocean.
• After going over the hill, you'll bend left (south) so that the ocean is on your right.
• Exit at Paloma Ave.
• Turn left and go back over Hiway 1.
• Oceana High is on your left on Paloma.
  You can see the baseball field from the street. You probably want to park in the little lot over the right field fence and downhill from the baseball field.

From SF and points north:

• Go south on 280 to the Hiway 1 exit.
• Follow the instructions above.

From the east:

• Choose the best way for you to get to the I-280 & Hiway 1 interchange.
  Maybe Bay bridge to 280 west and south to 1.
  Maybe San Mateo Bridge to 280 and north to 1.
• Follow directions above from 280 and 1.

• Going south on 680, Exit at Bollinger Canyon Road.
• At the end of the ramp, turn right, immediately get into the left turn lane, and turn left onto San Ramon Valley Road.
• Going south on San Ramon Valley Road you are parallel to 680.
• Turn left on Montevideo, going under 680.
• Turn right on Broadmoor.
• Go past the San Ramon pool and the main Cal High campus entrance.
• At the south end of the campus, turn into the parking lot where it says "Cal High Parking".

The stadium is behind what used to be a Nut Tree Restaurant. That's been closed for a long time. It's on the north side of I-80.

From the Bay Area:

• Go east on I-80 through Fairfield.
• Take the I-505 North exit toward Orange Drive.
• Turn Right on Orange Drive, go 0.2 mi.
• Turn Right on Nut Tree Road, go 0.3 mi.
• Turn Left on E. Monte Vista Ave. , go 0.1 mi.

From Sacramento or Davis or the 505/80 junction:

• Go west on 80 to the Monte Vista exit.
• Bear right at the fork in the ramp.

• Take Redwood Parkway exit going west (going over the overpass).

• Take a right at Tuolumne.
• Just past the Sutter Solano Medical Center, turn right on N. Camino Alto.
• N. Camino Alto takes you into Dan Foley Park.

• Take Tennessee st exit going west (going over the overpass).
• Stay on Tennessee till the intersection of Tennessee st and Amador st.
• Take a right on Amador st.
• At the intersection of Amador st and Nebraska st, take a left (going in front of the school).
• Just before the football stadium (Corbus Field) you will see a driveway that leads to the basketball gym; enter this driveway and go behind the basketball gym and you'll see the baseball field. Parking is right behind the gym.

Vallejo Elks

Directions from Vallejo High School to Vallejo Elks

• Take driveway out of school to Nebraska st.
• Take a left on Nebraska st and follow to the first stop light. That stop light will be the intersection of Nebraska st and Tuolomne st.
• Take a left and stay on Tuolomne st till the second stoplight at the intersection of Tuolomne st and Redwood st.
• Take a right onto Redwood st and follow across the overpass of Highway 80.
• Go through the stop light on the east side of the overpass and at the second light take a left into the parking lot of the Vallejo Elks.
• Park near the tennis courts, and follow the sidewalk to the back of the building and the picnic grounds.

• Go north on 680.
• Shortly before the 680/24 interchange in Walnut Creek, take the South Main St. exit off of 680.
• Look for school on your right on S. Main St. It's at a light. There is a Hick'ry Pit restaurant at the opposite corner.
  It's easy to miss. If you get to Mt. Diablo Blvd. you went too far.

From Oakland/SF:

• Get on 24 east.
• Go south on 680 at the 680/24 interchange.
• Exit at Mt. Diablo Blvd, going east. (On the map this exit is right on top of the 680/24 interchange.)
• Turn right (south) on S. Main Street.
• Look for the school on your left. It's at a light. There is a Hick'ry Pit restaurant on your right.
  It's easy to miss. If you get to the 680 freeway, you went too far.

Watsonville

Depending on where you start from you can go 17 to Santa Cruz and then south on 1, or go south on 101 to 129 or 152.

• From Hiway 1:
  • Take the Riverside (129) exit. Go east.
  • After you get into town, look for the High School on your left.
• From Hiway 101:
  • Take the Hiway 129 exit and go west.
  • Just as you come into town, the High School will be on your right.
• A shorter way from 101 is to take Highway 152 west over the hill and turn left on Blackburn once you get into Watsonville. The road has
  more curves in it, but is is more scenic.

• Going north from 80 on CA-113, exit at Gibson Rd.
• Go west on Gibson. Go past East St. Then you have two choices:
  • Easy way: Go past College. Turn right on West St. 2 blocks. Turn right on Hays St. Dead end near the park.
  • Shorter way: Turn right on College, quick left on Buena Tierra, quick right on Casa Linda, another quick right onto Elm. The park will be on your right.

None of the relevant streets go through all the way from East St. to West St. or from Main St. to Gibson Rd. So it's a good idea to check the map.
