Addendum: New Member Election Process for 2008

The following process shall be effective for the February, 2008 induction.

1. The Committee shall establish and publish a nomination form.
2. All nominations for 2008 must include information indicated on the nomination form.
3. A member of the HOF Committee shall contact each Norcal Board Member, HOF Member, and Club representative by phone, mail, or email shortly after the Annual Meeting in December to request nominations.
4. Nominees from prior years shall be carried over and considered for induction in 2008.
5. Nominations shall close on January 15, 2008.
6. The Committee shall solicit input, in a manner to be determined, from existing HOF Members regarding each of the nominees. For 2008, this will probably NOT be a formal vote.
7. The Committee shall select the new HOF Members based on induction criteria and the input from existing HOF Members.
8. Election for 2008 shall be confirmed by unanimous vote of the Committee.
9. The Committee shall inform the new Members for 2008 privately to enable them to invite friends and family members to the ceremony. Formal publication of the list shall be done at the Induction Ceremony.
